January 27, 2012 – Lock the doors and windows!

We live in a society where someone is always looking to take what belongs to someone else.  As the economy gets worse this activity will increase and we must be vigilant to make sure all our doors and windows are locked and closed.

Should we be any different when it comes to mental or spiritual doors and windows?

Technology is increasing everyday to breakthrough the doors and windows of our mind and soul.  We cannot let our guards down and allow anyone (natural or supernatural) to invade the sanctity of our being for their own gain.

In Matthew 26:41 the Lord gave the admonition to the disciples to “watch and pray“.  To not be prayerfully alert has dangerous repercussions.  I say that in 2012 and beyond (if the Lord tarries) that we must watch and pray!

Am I the only one who is creeped out by the fact that IBM and a lot of other technology companies these days actually have employees whose job titles are “Technology Evangelist”? I listened to an interview a few weeks back with an “evangelist” from IBM and he was gushing about how great their technology is going to make life for us all very soon, you know, when they turn us into the Borg. Thanks but no thanks Mr Evangelist.
